The CDQ is releasing their new CD - "Live" through Jazzgroove Records

The CD was recorded live at the Side On cafe on the 25th Oct 2003. The performance was part of the Sydney Improvised Music Association's (SIMA) progamme.

The regular quartet is featured:

Carl Dewhurst - Guitar
Stuart Hunter - Keyboards
Cameron Undy - Bass
Warren Trout - drums

It was engineered by Richard Belkner.

We recorded three sets of music and chose nine pieces for the CD.

Its was a great gig, every one felt really good. We got a great sound on stage and the band played fantastically. I had asked Richard only the night before to come down and record us. He did a great job in capturing the music. It all came together on this one night and the result is the new CD - "Live".

This is our second CDQ album, the first being Put Put Put, released in 2000.
